Chicago Skyline at Night

Wednesday, September 18 – Monday, September 23, 2019

Join Dramarama for an encore of last year’s wonderful Chicago theater experience. Once again we will spend 5 days in the theater mecca of the Midwest. So much to do in this fabulous city…and we will try to do it all. We are staying at the deluxe Alise Hotel, (now called the Staypineapple Iconic Hotel) located in the heart of the theater district. Walk to the Miracle Mile, the Art Institute and Millennium Park, to name just a few of the sights that are within walking distance. We will see five productions, enjoy tantalizing meals, eat our way around the neighborhood on a food tour and meet guest artists from the shows we will be seeing.

Aurora Theatre Company will be sponsoring our tour (all are welcome) and bringing along their new, charming artistic director, Josh Costello. Be the first to meet him…while touring the Windy City (and we will find out why Chicago got that nickname!).

Here is what we will be seeing on tour!

The King’s Speech adapted by David Seidler
The Great Leap by Lauren Yea (alternative performance of Dana H. by Luca Hnath)
Tiny Beautiful Things by Nia Vardalos
Bernheart Hamlet by Theresa Rebeck
Five Presidents by Rick Cleveland

Wow! What a great line-up. More detail to come as we get closer to the date. Enrollment deadline is July 15. Sign up now for some fabulous September traveling, theater and fun!
